REQUIREMENTS:

The mission of the video surveillance system that had to be built was the supervision of zones with stockpiles of critical goods at the Willi Betz Logistic warehouses. We had to secure 24/7 visibility into the 100 meters long corridors inside the guarded space. Securing timely alarms over detected motion off the working hours was another requirement put forward by Willi Betz Logistic.

SOLUTION:

In order to meet the client’s requirement, MAVEN developed a security concept for Willi Betz Logistic. It includes the positioning of various IP HDTV Axis cameras, each of them is equipped with IR projectors for 24-hours surveillance of the critical zones. The infrastructure that will be used by the video surveillance was designed for the purposes of the system itself, and the utilized Cisco devices are of professional class. Integrated Milestone XProtect Professional software operates the IP cameras. It enables the system to be used from any point with local and Internet connection. The software stores the recorded video material in a cluster of servers built for this particular purpose. The servers can provide accurate checkups on past events.

RESULT:

All zones that are crucial for the activities of the companies were covered after the installation of the video surveillance system at the Echnaton Co. offices. We secured remote access to all personnel representatives that had requested it which decreased the safeguard and maintenance expenses. Next to this, we created possibilities for expanding and improving the system. The integration of special analytical functionalities which will advance the automation and optimization of the working and safeguard processes is also possible at a later stage.
